My suggestion would be setting surf 34 as image surface for optimization using operand IMSF and followed by default RMS Angular Radius criterion. These operands are to be added onto your current merit function. Another thing, it might be a good idea to replace RMS Wavefront error by RMS Spot Radius to start with. i}gsxq%

Quite likely you will need to place some constraints on on surface radius, but the principle should work. See some of the resutls here. (Unfortunately I can't send the files.
